ONE Humanity Institute Teddybear Campaign

The amazing and inspirational story of how the One Humanity Institute became involved with helping those displaced by the Ukraine War. The House of Hope was born from our global family stepping up, donating money and resources to renovate one of the One Humanity buildings.. We created transitional housing where we subsidize Ukrainian guests finding their new lives. Currently we have 20 guests.

At present we have 800 teddy bears gifted to us and in turn we will gift them to children in orphanages in the Ukraine. Each bear has a card around its neck, hand-made by Polish and displaced Ukrainian students in the Oswiecim high school. The proceeds from each sponsored bear will go to heat our House of Hope to keep our Ukrainian guests warm. Heating costs have gone up 3-fold and we need your help to keep our guests warm

Dr. Nina Meyerhof, founder of Children of the Earth (COE), a worldwide organization that empowers youth working for peace and the One Humanity Institute (OHI) in Oswiecim-Auschwitz, Poland.  Nina’s innovative work in peace and sustainability through educational methodologies has reached young people in over 90 countries and continues to grow.

Nina co-authored the book, “Conscious Education: The Bridge to Freedom”; developed a one of a kind handbook entitled, “Pioneering Spiritual Activism”. In addition, she has written several chapters addressing Authentic Education for several anthologies consisting of notable luminaries the latest “Our Moment of Choice.”

Nina has received awards for her work from The Mother Theresa Award to the Citizens Department of Peace Award to The International Educators Award as well as the State of Vermont passed a Resolution honoring her for her life’s work in PEACE, the Sage Award and a nominee for the Public Peace Prize. Recently awarded The Global Leadership and Lifetime Award as well as the Visioneer Lifetime Achievement Award as a Heroine of Humanity.
