Seamus Kelly joins us live from Ireland, to recount first-hand his traumatic experiences at the hands of the Catholic Church, and his journey to healing, and finally justice, for which he was sought out by the Pope himself. An amazing story from the First Nation of Ireland, having much in common with similar stories from indigenous youth across the pond on Turtle Island.

James Desmond is the main coordinator of Kindred Spirits. James is a local indigenous artist of Cork City on the Island First Nation of Ireland. “Kindred Spirits is about uniting through Example, it’s about looking back in order to see our way forward in kindness and compassion; by acting on and strengthening the connections made through those rare compassionate examples in our past such as the Choctaw Gift of 1847, we can avoid repeating history continuously with the worst of example, such as greed, segregation and war.”
