The Fuse Within: A Story by Seamus Kelly of his harrowing times in the industrial schools of Ireland in the 1980s

Seamus Kelly joins us live from Ireland, to recount first-hand his traumatic experiences at the hands of the Catholic Church, and his journey to healing, and finally justice, for which he was sought out by the Pope himself. An amazing story from the First Nation of Ireland, having much in common with similar stories from indigenous youth across the pond on Turtle Island.

Kicking the Wall: A Story of Tragedy to Triumph

James O’Flynn of Cork, Ireland joins us live from Ireland, to recount first-hand his journey through mental institutions and prison as a youth, to becoming an accomplished singer-songwriter, endorsed by Cedella Marley. From oppression and abuse by the broken systems in Ireland — a hangover from the oppression of colonization by both the British and the Catholic Church — to the rebirth of the unstoppable human spirit in artistic and spiritual capacities.
